BAY OF ISLANDS SEAT
UNITED PARTY'S POSITION (By Telegraph.) (Special to "Tho Evening Post.") ..AUCKLAND, This Day. No definite decision has yet been, reached regarding the United Party's intentions at the coming by-election for tho Bay of Islands.seat, according to Mr. A. E. Davy, chairman.of the party executive, who returned t« Auckland from the North yesterday. Mr. Davy, who left for Wellington by train last evening, said that he would have to consult Sir Joseph. Ward before any announcement was made. He visited the Bay of Islands Electorate chiefly in connection with the by-elec-'ti6n,.aiHl an official statement would be made shortly.
