Stating that ho could not accept the respondent's.evidence,.Mn Justice Kennedy to-day granted a divorce to Honour Clark Mackenzie, whose- husband is servingl a< three years'' sentonco for assault on her;-causing' bodily harm.

The' Wellington Grocers' Assistants' .Union, at their special meeting held yesterday, passed a resolution to recommend to the Governor-General Messrs. A. L. Monteith and !P. D. Cornwell as workers' representatives on the Arbitration Court.
