following General de Bivera's statiment that he smelt petrol in foreign criticisms of the Spanish regime, now in reply to criticisms has seini-ofli-cially announced that tho Government is defending tho national interests by, the nationalisation of' industries from which the Treasury will benefit to the extent of fifty million pesetas, causing foreign' profits proportionately to be re- , duced. Ho adds that ho is confident the regime will overcome all attacks, foreign or internal.
