it was stated at Craigweil House this morning that the King had passed a good night. To-day was fine, with bright sunshine and only a slight wind, so that the King, who arose early, was able to walk from his bedroom to the sun room to enjoy the sunlight and warm fresh air.

His Majesty passed a good day. The sun shono brilliantly throughout the day, and after sitting in the sun room during the morning His Majesty went back to his bedroom in the afternoon, so that he could get the fiill effect of the sun from tho western windows. Sir, Frederick Ponsouby, Keeper of the Privy Purse, visited Craigweil House this afternoon at the King's command, and submitted some papers to His Majesty. Sir Frederick also had a long talk with the King. Tho King's undo, the l)uke of Connaughty has completely recovered from his recent slight attack of influenza, and 'was able yesterday' to leave his villa at Cape Ferrat for a walk.
