Spread the-coat on the table wrong' side upward. Rub tlie place whero tho damp comes through with a lump oi! beeswax until the surface takes on a grey tint. AVhon all the thin part has been treated iv this way, place a sheet of brown paper over the spot and press with a hot iron. This' melts the beeswax and makes it. pass into every fibre of the cloth. The coat will then be thoroughly waterproof.
