■ At,the Henderson Oddfellows' Amateur Athletic Club's sports, P. C. Minns, the .well-known Rii^by representative, won the 100 yards handicap with comparative ease. Minns was on 6% yards, a good handicap in view of his, performances last season. He .had little difficulty in winning by a. yard from Horan (12 yards).' Minns has only been in training a few weeks, and ■at his best is, a capable sprinter. .He. will represent Auckland at the New Zealand champioifships. atChristchurch .at Easter. The annual meeting of the' Wellington. Central Residents' and Ratepayers' Association will be held in the Aro street Mission Hall to-night at 7.30. Residents and intending members are asked to attend, so as to take an active part in improving the district.
