The Eangitikei Racing Club's Meeting opened in fine weather. The course is in excellent order after the rain. The attendance is good. Eesults:—
Ohakea Hurdles, of 140. soys; one mile and a half.—2 Novar, 11.11, 1; 1 Airtight, 10.6, 2; 3 Hymcstrason, 9.11, 3. Scratched: Gnu Area. Head each way. Time, 2inin 52 2-ssee.
Trial PJate, of 100 soys; six furlongs. —1 Skyridor, 8.0, 1; 5 Grattan, 8.0, 2; 2 Lady Lucerne, 8.0, 3. Scratched: Rillet, Kosher, Postman, Nasselle, Miss Atlanta. Won by two lengths. Time, I mm 17sec. " ■ •
Eangitikei Clip, of 330 soys; one mile and a half.—3 Cashier, 7.U, 1; 1 Star Area, 9.2, 2; i Imperial Spark, 7.7, 3. Also started: Orazone, Moutoa Treasury, Locarno (lost rider). Won, by half a length, two lengths between second and third. Time, 2min 10 l-ssec.
