ARTCRAFT THEATRE.
Syd. Chaplin in his latest comedy, "Skirts," now showing at the Artcraft Theatre, is just ono long, loud laugh. The fllta starts with Chaplin attempting to aid his wife and mother-in-law as they pack for a vacation trip, and ends with their return amid a hailstorm of flying fists. In the.interim there are somo wildly amusing comedy chases, a trick dog, a splendid cabaret scene, one at Syct. Chaplin's justly famous female Impersonations,-and a host of othe^laughable matters. The cast is a splendid ono. Betty Balfour, one of London's most noted actresses, has the leading feminine role, and proves to be a talented comedienne. The second picture ia "Lost in tho Arctic," a record of amazing adventures in the far North.
