WOODFULL'S RECORD
The score of 275 not out made by W. M. "Woodfull at Melbourne on ITriday and Saturday is the largest ever rogistered for Victoria against an English team, the previous best being 192 by H. S. Love in the 1922-23 season. Only one bigger score in State matches with England is on record, A. J. Richardson having made 280 for South Australia against England in the 1922-23 season, Woodfull had not previously made a three-figure score for Victoria against England. In the first match between Victoria and England in the present season Woodfull carried his bat through the innings as. he did on Friday and Saturday.
