Particulars regarding' the .shipments of frozen meat from New Zealand from Ist October, 1928, to 15th February, 1929, are supplied by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. Shipments have been as follow: — Beef 28,756 quarters. Mutton ' 374,184 carcasses. j JiuTl ]j , .1,413,001 carcasses. Pork ._■ 56,091 carcasses. It will thus be seen that there has been a marked decrease in the quantity of beef exported from New Zealand and a lesser decrease in mutton and lamb. Pork alone shows an increase.
