.Imports increased £15,670,000 and exports £7,137,000, while re-exports decreasod £49(5,000. The principal increases were: Imports—Grain and Hour, £1,176,000; meat, £1,194,000; food and drink, non-dutiable, £3,037,000; raw cotton, £7,012,000. Exports—lron and steel manufactures, £1,103,000.; vehicles, £1,----623,000; cotton yarns and manufactures, £613,000.
