DUNEDIN, This Day. The mining industry in. ptago shows signs of a revival, English mining interests having, approached' tho Big Beach' Gold Mining , Company, Ltd., with a view of acquiring its mining properties at Arthur's Point, near Qucenstown. An option has been granted to the English mining interbsts for six months to enable them to send' a mining engineer to New Zealand to report on tho properties. The English company will put a dredgo on tho Big Beach claims, in addition to sluicing operations already being carried on. The price- stated in the option will givo tho shareholders of tho Big Beach Company 25s a share, part in cash, and tho balance in fully paid shares in tho English company.
