The 10,000-ton light.cruiser Salt Lake City, which.is the first of .such vessels to be constructed for tho United States under the terms of the Washington .Armament Limitation Conference was launched to-day in the presence of the Secretary of tho Navy, Mr. Curtis Wilbur, other high naval officials, and 600 guests.
