MAKING-RAPID STRIDES
. Australian Press Association. (Received 24th January, 10 a.m.-) LONDON, 23rd January. After Lord Dawson, Dr. Eigby, and Dr. Hewett had seen the King this morning thev__announced that his progress was maintained. The nest bulletin is expected to-morrow night. The "Central News" says the King is making even more rapid strides in convalescence than,is indicated by the official statement. His Majesty is in j better spirits, and cheerfulness reigns in the' Palace. The Duke and Duchess of York yesterday attended a performance of "Patsy."

LONDON, 22nd,January. At_ 10.50 p.m. an official statement was issued that the progress noted in. th% King's morning bulletin had been. maintained. The doctors had not yet decided the date of His Majesty's removal to Bognor, but expected it to b« early in February.
