DUNEDIN. 23rd January. At a meeting of the Otagb Yacht and Motor-boat Association to-night the president, Mr. J. T. Paul, mad 6 a clear-cut statement,in,connection..with' the NorthEast Harbour Boating Club's .action in defying the association's decision by sending a crow to. compete in the Cornwell Ctlp contest at Lyttelton. Most of the delegates also strongly condemned the club's action, 'and' after a lengthy. diucussion a :niotion was carried that the club be expelled from the.association.

Mr. Paul.stated, that he felt sure the association's decision! would meet with the approval of the other affiliated clubs and the majority of boating men in Otago.
