AGREEMENT REACHED
WOOL AND GRAIN STOREMEN
An application made by the union of workers for an increase of wages, and other alterations to the present award covering the work of' storemen employed in wool and grain stores throughout the Dominion, engaged the attention of .a Conciliation Council yesterday. Mr. P. Hally presided. The workers were represented by Messrs. W. Miller (Auckland) and J. Tucker (Wellington).: The employers' assessors were Messrs. C. H. Hewlett (Christchureh) and G. D. Morgan (Wellington). A complete agreement upon all clauses in dispute was arrived at. With the exception of some minor alterations, the new schedule of working conditions is. upon. the same lines as the oxisting award. The, Court of Arbitration will be requested to embody the now conditions in an award at its next sittings at AVolHngton. ..
