SUFFERING IN CHICAGO

CHICAGO, 13th January.
Tlivee persons were frozen to tleath to-day when the coldest wave of the season sent the local thermometer to 10 degrees below zero. Suburban towns reported much lower temperatures, decreasing to .43 below zero in several towns in Ontario. Much suffering was caused in the Chicago area by the suddenness of the cold and the high, winds. Relief is' promised for Monday. .
