ON THE UP-GRADE
THE KING'S HEALTH SIR EDWARD ELGAR'S OPINION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received 12th January, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 11th January. The report that there is. no change appears to fulfil expectations that the King for a time has been passing through a stationary period similar to that at the beginning of the week. That period was followed, by an increase in strength, and the-fact that there continued to be no change is not regarded as a bad sign. Rays have not been applied. Sir Edward Elgar, Master of the King's Music, speaking at a 1 luncheon, said that his small duties of ten: took him nearer to the King than was usual, and he felt "sure the King was on the up-grade, and that the rumours ■ rife during the past fortnight could be dismissed. In a few months, unless any untoward accident occurred; the King would be among his people again.
