WELLINGTON V. WAXGANUI

Strong., teams have been selected to represent the Wellington and Wanganui Amateur Athletic Clubs in the contests at tho Basin Reserve to-morrow ■ night. In addition there will be a team of lady athletes from the East Coast, who will compete against Wanganui. and Wellington ladies' teamsin special iuvitation races and a relay. Rydbeck, the ex-all-round champion athlete- of.--New .South Wales, will make bis first.appearance in Wellington, competing in the high and Jong jump, in which his opponents will include E. 6. Sutherland, who has won championships of several countries. Leading cyclists of Wanganui and Wellington will appear in scratch and other races, and on the running track there will be champions from both districts, including H...E.8. Newton, C. Jenkins, and J. T. -Fleming. R. "*VV, Lander, champion hurdler, will be opposed by Fisher (Wanganui) and'others.
