Adams and Miss Mycis was veiy keenly contested. Miss Mycis led 5-2 and 40-love in the fust set by attacking backhand. She then changed her tactics, enabling Miss 'Adams to recover and take live games on end. Men's Singles.—Third lound: liuitIcet (Auckland) beat P. H. Jones (Maori), 6-0, 6-2, 6-0.
