Doris Lavcraek, aged 8, was killed on tbo X-ray table hi the Hull Infirmary. The electric current passed through the girl, anil thence ta the mother, who is suffering from burns. The doctor also received a shock in getting the doad child off tho table. There was a vivid flash, the current first traversing the nurse,' theneo* .(.he child, and. thence the mother, who was standing at the head of the table: The mother was rendered unconscious, but recovered. The nurso was severely burnt oil the logs, arms, and body. Tho accident is regarded as inexplicable. Ther« have been thousands of successful exam. ■inations by the same apparatus.
