OBITUAEY

A SYDNEY POLITICIAN Australian Press Association. (Eoceived loth December, 12.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The death is announced of the Hon. Frederick Flowers, president of the New South Wales Legislative Council, aged 64. The late Mr. Flowers had been President of the Council since 1915. He first entered the Legislative Council in 1900, and was Vice-president of the Executive Council and representative of the Government in the Legislative Council from 1910 to 1915. In 1911 he was Secretary of Lands and Acting Chief Secretary and Minister of Public Instruction, while from 1913 to 1915 he was Minister of Health.
