A RETRIEVED DEFEAT
United Press Association—By Electric T»l«----craph—Copyright. (Received 15th December, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The defeat of the Bavin Government on. Thursday was purely an accident. The samo thing occurred the previous night, by means of a snap vote. Mr. Bavin on each occasion rallied his forces and recommitted the defeated clauses, which were agreed to. Thus tho Opposition waa outwitted.
