ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.
"Croquet" asks if rule 44 should apply to interelub matches where play is level. Rule 44 applies'to all level play —that is to say, any game at all that is played without handicap. In handicap games, where one player must give another bisques, 44 does not apply. All interelub games in this district are played with 44 in use, otherwise they would not bo in order. One observes all the other rules, and it is only because 44 is new this season that it is causing so much bother. "Ball" writes: "I roqueted a ball into a hoop, put mine to it to go through the hoop; both balls of courso went through, but the front ball went out. i Did my turn cease and should I score 'that point?" Yes, to both questions. | There is nothing anywhere in the rules that excuses a croqueted ball going out. I Even though both balls were for the | hoop and each scored the point, the fact jof tho croqueted ball going out would cause your turn to cease. Thank you I I for your good w.ishcs.
