Captain W. H. D. Gardner has reported from Sydney, and has been appointed to tho command of the Kaitangata, relieving Captain A. S. Diilglcisli for holidays. Captain J. Stewart has' completed his holidays at Sydney. Mr. .T. B. Gibsou, second officer of the Wal-p.-ilii, was recently invalided ashore at Auckland suffering from influenza. Mr. A. W. Pert, secern! 'officer of the Katkorai, lias been relieved from tho vessel, and is proceeding to Sydney for instructions. Mr. O. 11. Vincent, third officer of the Kaitmia, has been granted holidays at Auckland. Mr. J. .1. Barnard, second officer of the Wlngutul, has beeu transferred to tho Katoa in a similar capacity, relieving Mr. D. J,«H. JM'Keuzlc for holidays. ,
