The following forecast was Issued at 9 a.m. 10-day for the ensuing 24 hours:— Winds—Moderate to strong southerly winds, decreasing gradually. Barometer —Blsin/? slowly. Seas—Rather rough In Cook Strait auil on the enst coast north of Altaroa, but moderatitiK and elsewhere smooth to moderate. Tides —Moderate south of Capo Egmont; good elsowhere. Weather—Still showery at scattered places in eastern districts, but improving, and othorwlse fair to fine. Cool temperatures, but becoming milder. ,
