Pork: English porkers, 80-1001b, lOd; New Zealand porkei s, 80-100, 6V211. Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 14th December:—"Frozen meat operations (prices on a "delivered" basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.): Down lamb, 28/42, none offering; best North Island, 28/42, 9%d; ordinwy North Island, 28/42, none offering; second quality lamb, 7 3-8 d; best ■North Island wethers, 48/64, 6%d; best Earth Island wethers, 64/72, 5%d; ordinary North Island wethers, 48/64. 6d; North Island ewes, 48/64, 4 3-8 d; North Island awes, 64/72, 4d; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220, 4 5-Bd. As compared n-ith last week's quotations, best North Island lamb is l-8d per lb lower and second quality lamb 5-8 d per lb lower. North Island ewes are l-8d per lb higher; wethers unchanged. The market is steady but quiet."
