KING'S THEATRE.
A picture entitled "Tho Barker," dealing foith the life of a troupe of circus performers, is tho main attraction In tho change of programmo at the King's Theatre. Tho story centres around circus life, and- deals with the adventures of the itinerant showmen who spend their lives amusing others. Tho main part Is taken by Milton Sills, who characterises the '.'barker" to perfection, and gives one of the best Interpretations of his career. He is ably supported by a strong cast, which Is headed by Dorothy Mackall, who. In the part of Lou, another of tho circus group, acts tho part of the "vampire." Another member of the cast is Betty Compson, who also acts with merit. Douglas Fairbanks, jun., takes tho part of the iwn of tho "barker," and scores a success. As tho barker's son, most of tho interest centres around him, in tho trials and tribulations of tho life of tho troupe. Sylvia Asliton, Qeorgo Cooper, S. S. Simon, John Krwin, and others contribute to make the picture. In addition there is a suporting programme consisting of a news and a comedy, and .the King's Orchestra supplies appropriate music.
