PUBLIC RELIEF AT NEWS
Australian Press Association. (Received 27th Nov., 1.50 p.m.) ' LONDON, 26th November. The doctors remained in the sick ' room an hour before the bulletin was issued. After leaving tho King, the doctors had an interview with the Queen. When t.ic bulletin became public about 9 o'clock, manifest relief was disclosed that thero. was no sori-. ous turn in, the King's condition. Many peoplo had been waiting a couple of hours in the bitter cold for the bulletin which was displayed in a framo hung on tho railings outside the Palace. Tho public eagerly discussed tho terms in little groups. Hundreds of motorists stopped or sent their chauffeurs to sco the bulletin. Earlier in the day tho Duke and Duchess of York and Princess Mary visited tho Queen and remained for lunch. Later the Royal ladies drove in the Park. The Queen smiled and waved her hand to a big crowd waiting at tho gates.
