LOCAL MANAGEMENT
_ The Management Committee of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association met last evening, Mr. C. G. Swinburne presiding. The resignation of Mr. M. E. Denuiston, as a member of the committee, was accepted with regret. The withdrawal of the Seatoun and Thorndon Normal teams in the third grade competition was announced. A new Finance Committee consisting of Messrs. Baigent, Harbison, Burn, and Watson was set up. The Public Schools' Association was granted 16 hard courts and the 12 southern grass courts till 1 p.m. on Ist, Bth, and 10th December, and for the remainder of the last day, provided members do not require them. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. The following is the draw for Saturday's club competitions:— Junior Grade.—Newtown v. Seatoun; Wellington V. Lyall Bay; 'Varsity v. Brougham Hill; Mitchelltown v. Miramar Grounds. Third Grade.—-Rawhiti v. Newtown; Rongotai v. Victoria; Talavera v. Trinity; Miramar Grounds v. Island Bay; University v. Eoseneath; Lyall Bay v. Brougham Hill.
