KING'S THEATRE.
A picture entitled "The Barker," dealing with tho life of a troupe of circus performers, is the main attraction in tho change of programmo at the King's Theatre. Tho story centres around circus life, and deals with the adventures of the itinerant showmen who spend their lives amusing others. The main part is taken by Milton Sills, who characterises the "barker" to perfection, and gives one of tho best Interpretations of his career. He is ably supported by a strong cast, which is headed by Dorothy Mackail, who. in the part of Lou, another of tho circus group, acts the part of the "vampire." Another member of the cast is Betty Compson, who also acts with merit. Douglas Fairbanks, jun., takes the part of the son of the "barker," and scores a success. As tho barker's son, most of the Interest centres around him, in the trials and tribulations of tho life of the troupe. Sylvia- Ashton, George Cooper, S. S. Simon, John Erwin. and others contribute to. make tho picture. In addition there is a suporting programme consisting of a news and a comedy, and the King's Orchestra supplies' appropriate music.
