At the wool sales 11,309 bales were offered, of which 5887 were Australian and J6OB New Zealand, comprising a splendid selection of merinos, including a large offering of second-hand, suitable for topmakers. The sale was marked by excellent competitioD, with the Continent pralominaut. Prices were fully maintained. prices realised were. —Tinen burra, '-'Id to 20d; Milo, lOVfcd to lSd; Pardoo, 20d to l\hi; Babbagimdy, i'W to 21d; scoured wools, Maxwelton, 45d to 43d; Melrose, 40Vid to 3Ud; New Zealand greasy, Carlton Hill, 18>,sd to 17d.
