BOXING.
Patrons of the Boxing Association should witness an excellent and keen contest on. Monday next between Fairhall and Trowern. Many followers of the game will remember the excellent contest about three years ago, between Purdy and Trowern, when the latter won on points. Since then Trowern has travelled to Australia and South Africa, where he has fought in a number of contests, and it is »ow acknowledged that with this experience he is a much improved boxer and should give a good acoouut of himself. Fairhall, who has now fully recovered from his sickness, has settled down to bard training, and will so doubt be out to impress his followers. The box plan is now open.
