In the House of Lords, Lord Huusdoii moved that a Select Committee of both Houses consider the desirability of Bills held over at the end of the session, after receiving the House of Commons' consent, being re-introduced in the House of Lords in the following session, the Commons' previous consent remaining effective. The Government did not oppose the motion, which ivas carried.
