To-night in the Town Hall Concert Chamber, tho Carnival- Committee, acceding to numerous requests, are putting on the well-known comedy, "A Pair of Silk Stockings," which will be interpreted by a splendid cast of wollIraown amateurs, Including Miss Mary Cooley, H. Morris Dunkley, Miss Alison Klrkcaidie, and other well known artists. The bedroom scene is said to be ona of the funniest in' all comedy. Clever wit and sparkling dialoguo and humorous situations abound. Patrons are assured of a splendid evening's entertainment. Tho proceeds aro to be Riven to the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Fund.
