TE ARO BATHS

The City Council last night decided in regard to Te Aro Baths:—(l) That swimming tuition be given at a fee of Ids 6d for adults for 12 lessons, and 5s for children under 16 years of age, half of the fees id bo paid to the instructor. (2) That applications be called for tho appointment of a lady attendant at tho women's baths during tho summer months at a salary of £3 per week. (3) That the Education Department be asked for a subsidy of £300 per annum on account of the number of school children, admitted to the. baths free of charge, estimated at about 70,000 each year.
