BOXING.
Followers of boxing in' Wellington are promised two exceptional attractions between now and the end of the year. On 20th November Reg. Trowern will be seen iv action again Tommy Fairhall. On 10th December, Billy M'Alister, the bantam champion of Australia, will meet Johnny Leckie. M'Alister has been approached by all the larger associations in the Dominion with a view to his coming over, and local enthusiasts may consider themselves fortunate in being given an opportunity of seeing him in action. He is credited with being one of the cleverest exponents seen in Australia for many years, and while lie will be giving away a few pounds in weight to Leckie, those who have seen him in action consider that the Dunedin champion will1 have to be at his very best if he is to score off the Australian champion. The bos plan for the Fairhall-Tro'wern contest opens on Wed-, nesday next. In connection with the seating arrangements generally, the association's announcement in the advertising columns will be of interest to regular patrons. .
