SLY GROG-SELLING
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. ' Winifred Roberts, a confectioner, of. Grey Lynn, pleaded guilty ' to'keeping liquor in a No-License area. Her hus. band pleaded guilty to selling liquor. The woman was fined £5 and the husband 50s. The police stated it was known that men were getting liquor in the locality. The shop was near a dance hall and a constable twice attended the dances and purchased liquor at the shop. The case, however, was not a serious one, as the defendants had only been "going" three months.
