Miss Harriett E. Newman, E.N., I R.M., and Miss Edith P. Tennant, R.N., R.M., have been appointed members of the Nurses and Midwives Eegistration Board. At a recent gathering of the employees of the Duke of Portland at Welbeck Abbey, there were sixty persons with forty or more years' service to their credit, five of them having served the duke for sixty years.
