PERSONAL MATTERS
Mr. '£. A. Finely headmaster of the Warkworth District High School, has been appointed advisory inspector1, to the Auckland Education Board. Mr. K. G* Bntters, accountant for the Na'tionalßank at Wellington, has been appointed manager of the Gisborne branch, and will leave next week for his new sphere. Mr. Butters has been succeeded by Mr. A. Nicholson^ of Hamilton. The New Zealand champion swimmer, D. Lindsay, of Canterbury, who returned recently from the Olympic Games, is remaining in Wellington to eontiriue his studies here at the Training Col!ege. . ■ ■ "■ ' . .
