TOO MANY MEDIOCRITIES (Received 20th October, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE. This Day. The president of the Stevedores' Association, 'in declaring the strike off, said that there were too many mediocre men in leading positions who could not estimate the danger of the Transport Act to unionism.
