EMPIRE THEATRE, ISLAND BAY.

Two big productions make up tho doublefeature programme at the Empire Theatre tonight. Tho first picture is "Shepherd of tho Hills." Based on Harold Bell Wright's most famous novel, it is the story of an old greyhaired wanderer who became known as "Shepherd of tho Hills." Molly O'Day and Alec B. Francis havo the leading roles. Secondly, William Haines appears in "Telling the World." In this picture Haines takes the role of a newspaper reporter. As tho story moves round to a Chinese revolution, with a girl's life at stake,, many unusual thrills are added to comedy, and action piles on action. The supporting cast includes Anita Page, Bert Roach, Polly Moran, and Matthew Botz. There is an excellent Hal Itoach comedy.
