CANDIDATES' MEETINGS
Mr.-T. Forsyth, official Eeform candidate for Wellington East, will address electors at St. Judo's Hall, Lyall Bay, at 8 o'clock to-night. The Hon. R. A. Wright will also speak. To-morrow evening at 8 o 'clock Mr. T. Forsyth will address electors at- the Masonic Hall, Soatoun.. The Hon. R. A. Wright will also speak. J. J. Clark, Independent Eeform candidate for Wellington East, will open his campaign at Kilbirnie to-night, with an address at Headland's Hall. Mr. Clark will reply to the Prime Minister on his right to contest the seat. Meetings of the ladies' and men's committees were held yesterday, and the organisation was completed. Mr. Martin Luckie, the Eeform candidate for Wellington South, will address the electors at St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock. This will be the first time for ten years that a Eeform candidate has spoken in Newtown. Mr. W. H. Field, who is standing inthe interests of the Eeform Party for the Otaki electorate, will address1 the electors at Ohau Institute this evening at 8 o'clock, and at the Taita Hall tomorrow evening at the same hour. Mr. A. B. Sievwright, United Party candidate for Otaki, will address tho electors at Epuni School at 8 o'clock to-night and at Otaki on Friday night. To-night at 8, Mr. R. M'Keen, Labour candidate for Wellington South, will meet his friends and supporters in tho Park Tearooms (opposite the Zoo gates). In the Methodist Hall, Kaiwarra, Mr.. T. Brindlo, Labour candidate for Suburbs, will meet his friends and supporters to-night at 8. Mr. C. H. Chapman, Labour candidate for Wellington North, will bo pleased to meet friends and supporters in St. Paul's Schoolroom, Sydney street, to-night at 8. Mr. E. Semple, Labour candidate for Wellington East, invites friends and supporters to meet him in the Boseueath Schoolroom to-night at 8. Mr. T. Brindle, Labour candidate for Wellington Suburbs, will address his friends and supporters on Thursday (tomorrow) evening at 8 in St. Michael's Schoolroom, Kelburn. Mr. W. Nash will also speak. Mr. K. M'Keen, Labour candidate for Wellington South, will address friends and supporters on Thursday (to-mor-row) evening at 8, in the Masonic Hall, Berhampore. On Thursday afternoon, at 2.30, Mr. and Mrs. E. Semple will be pleased to meet women supporters of the Labour Party in the Taia Hall, Kilbirnie. The Miramar branch of the Labour Party will provide afternoon tea. Mr. P. Fraser, Labour candidate for Wellington Central, announces that his committee rooms, will be open as from j to-day at 38, Cambridge terrace. Mr.! Frasev will be pleased to meet his friends and supporters in the Council Chamber of the Trades Hall (entrance by Marion street) on Tuesday, 23rd October, at 8 p.m. Mr. K. M'Lennan, United Party candidate for the Suburbs seat, will speak at Ngaio Town Hall to-morrow, Thursday, at 8 o'clock. / Mr. A. B. Sievwright, United Party candidate for Otaki, will address a meeting at Epuni to-day. On Friday night ho will speak at Otaki. MR. H. E. HOLLAND IN THE TOWNHALL. Mr. 11. E. Holland, Leader of the Opposition, will deliver a policy speech on behalf of the New Zealand Labour Party in tho Town Hall, Wellington, on Thursday evening, 25th October, at 8 o'clock. The electors are cordially invited to attend.
