MR. J. BURNS AT NEWTOWN
Mr. John Burns, United candidate for Wellington South, met his Newtown Committee last night. Beports were received that electors were keenly interested in the new party. Workers were, freely offering. Mr. E. TJ. Wheeler, secretary of committees, reported that the Island Bay and Berhampore Committees would meet this week. Mr. Burns, as advertised, will address public meetings at Happy Valley on Wednesday, and at the Park tea rooms (near Zoo gates) on Thursday, both at 8 p.m.
