♦ I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) j '■" - - 'BLENHEIM, 15th October. ■ A station hand at .Tirohanga named; W. Tower was injured while endeavour-' ing to fit a detonator cap to a pencil. The cap exploded, blowing off half the man's left hand and the little finger of his right hand. He was brought to Blenheim, where an operation was performed. He is making a good recovery.
