Five were killed at a level crossing near Geelong.when a special train, crashed into a motor wagon, on wjiieh a number of people were returning from a Catholic ceremony at Werribce, at which Cardinal Cerretti was officiating. The killed are: Leslie Hargreaves, 25; Fred Leary, 20; Bessie and Eileen Smallcombe, and Eileen Kelly, all 15. Sis others of the vsame families were more or less injured. .
