1 MEETING OF COLLECTORS .'■'• No project of a public nature, ■with the exception perhaps of the wonderful response to war time appeals, has over been so warmly supported by the, people of Wellington as the .Dominion.-. Museum and Art Gallery, to form part of the. completo Mount Cook scheme. Large" donations continue to come to hand, and tho collectors report meeting with' excellent responses from all approached. A meeting o±, the city collectors in tho different localities ia being held this af fcornoon to report progress and arrange further canvasses, and a statement is being prepared set-' ting forth the amount received by the various canvassers. Bepresentatives of the suburban districts and of the adjacent boroughß will shbrtly meet the Mayor, in conference to talk-over the campaign for the Museum and Art Gallery. •..':,. | ■ . .
