PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME
(By Telegraph,—Press Association.! AUCKLAND, This Day.. Mr. Justice Smith admitted Charles West to two years' probation for' the theft of four cows. Georgo Douglas1 Campbell was fined £15 for a falso declaration, to obtain a marriage certificate. The caso of Claude Albert Johnson (Pacroa), committed for incest, was adjourned for a fortnight for medical examination of the prisoner.
