LOWER HUTT COURT

Messrs. C. B. Robinson and W. N. j Dempsey, J.P.s, presided at the Lower Hutt Court yesterday. For having no lights on their bicycles Ivan Adams, Arthur Clendon, John Ennis, Keith Lowe, Frank Merrick, William M'Gill, Frank Snow, John Tukes were fined 10s each' For the same offence Andrew Adams was convicted and discharg- ' ed, while Douglas Body was fined 15s. Riding a motor-cycle on the cycle track cost John Duncan £1. For speeding, Errol Muir was fined £2 and J. W. T. Adams, William Coombe, and Douglas H. Wickham £1 each. The same offence cost John Edward August, Oliver Samuel Goss, Jack V. ' Hayues, Alfred Newbury, and John Gage Williams 10s each. John Cowden was fined 5s and Samuel Hunter £1 for allowing stock to wander.
