A WORTHY OBJECT.
The secretary reports that good work is teing done in the disposal of tickets for the raffle of a hand-worked supper clotli. Most of t!lo city clubs have bad additional tickets Buppllod them but the limited number lias not been issued yet, the secretary would bo pleased to receive inquiries for more books. As the object is a very worthy one, and and it will bo an asset to tho city of Wellington to have a really Tip-to-date miniature riflo range, it is up to the town clubs to do their utmost to make this a great success. The raffle is to be drawn at the Caledonian Hall on Wednesday, 17th October, and result will be published In the "Evening Post" on Thursday, 18th October. Tho supper cloth is now on view in Messrs. W. Tisdall's. Ltd., window on Lambton quay.
